Is it right for my mom to give me this medicine?

I think I might have strep throat. It hurts when I breathe and my throat is in a great deal of pain. About a month ago I had a sinus infection (the medicine is for strep and a sinus infection) but he took me off it cause I had a bacteria infection. Is it okay for my mom to not take me to the doctor (apparently money is more important than my health) and give me the medicine now?
