Am I giving my dog to much medicine?

For my dog's joints we got him, Glucosamine with chrondroitin in chewable tablets, and a liquid you put over his food, and also hip and joint treats. The bottles says, for his weight, to give him 3 of the tablets a day, 3 tsp of the liquid in his food, and just use the treats as you would use his other treats. Is it to much to give him the tablets, the liquid, and the treats all in one day?, or would it just help him faster?
