My dog had a seizure today?

My dog was all fine and then had seizure, it was so scary. We took him straight to the vet, they said he had a seizure and gave him medicine to make sure he doesn't have a seizure again today and they took a blood test. They said they have to see of anything is wrong with his blood and of it's ok we just have to watch out because they said if he had them again and they are longer then 3 minutes, more then 2 a month, or one after another then he has to take medication regularly. I'm so scared because I don't want him to have seizures because it was so scary and I don't want him hurting himself. After wards when we got home he was fine, he ate a lot and drank a lot of water, played, jumped in the pool, and is acting happy. Do you think he will be ok ?
