You should always continue to take any meds until you can get into contact with your dentist/doctor (whoever prescribed the Rx) and you never want to mess with the dosage (if it says b.i.d, then b.i.d... or take twice a day). The bumps could be caused because of an allergic reaction but because you had no fever and only had them for one day it was probably due to heat or something in your make-up or something other than the Amox. Swelling is almost usually going to happen after any kind of root treatment.
