What's wrong with my head?? Please help!?

The last couple weeks I've been getting MASSIVE headaches that last for at least an hour. I get them 2 or 3 times a week and it's not a normal headache. It's a horrendous pressure! It feels like my head is expanding a LOT and like my eyeballs are pushing out of my head. My eyes get really bloodshot and I can feel my pulse in my head. It's not a sinus thing because my face is fine other than my eyes. Please help, I'm really worried! :( I am almost 15, female, and reasonably healthy. Not overweight (120 at 5'4") and I don't have any substance addictions and my diet is fairly healthy. I'm really concerned. :( This happened a few nights ago (always at night) and I took some ibuprofen and it helped. I don't know if I should tell my mom and see a doctor or just let it pass.
