Why does tequila have a different effect than other alcohols?

People react differently to different types of booze- wine makes me sobby/weepy, beer makes me punchy and aggressive- I can't even smell Vodka fumes without instantly vomiting, whisky makes me stupid and finally Tequila... Well, that's the drink I drink when I want to act like a pornstar all night :P The hubby loves Tequila night.
