Terrible allergies (grass, pollen, etc) and no allergy medications work?!?

you may need to set up an appt with an actual allergist instead of a general doctor. it's possible that you will need a combination of medicines. don't try that on your own....risk of doubling up on certain ingredients in each medicine which would only make your situation worse. my son went thru a phase of allergies to trees, grass, cats, just about everything outside. he was on 2 meds at a time, but it took trying 4 different combinations before we got the right mix. because of his age & the severity, we had to go to a major hosp with a pediatric allergist. (it's been 10 yrs & he's down to one med now for only part of the year.)
