Yes. My man goes into very detailed explanations to me about sci-fi shows and movies and it's a genre I hate. I don't even ask about them--he'll be watching one and start it. It's useless to say "that doesn't interest me" because he will try to make it interesting to me. I just sit there and nod and go "mmm hmm" till he's through.
