I feel like I'm smarter than the average yet my grades are worse than them?

Yes, I am the same way. I believe that everybody's brains are wired differently. You'll probably excel in some things and others will excel in things you don't. On another note your grades probably suck because your written English sucks. Remember everything you do in life is a reflection of yourself. Take pride in you.
