Hi.ihave a mare and her eyes r bloodshot not bad but pink..i was thinking it might be depression?

We just bought her so I thought she might be depressed..she also had a "boyfriend" at her old home so that might be it...i would like to know y her eyes r bloodshot..any thoughts?
